When Millie Lea Moody was born on February 16, 1897, in St Joe Township, Arkansas, her father, James, was 43, and her mother, Mary, was 21. She married William Elven Teas on September 30, 1916, in Faulkner Township, Arkansas. They had ten children in 21 years. She died in May 1983 in Conway, Arkansas, at the age of 86, and was buried in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
