Barry Con Grimes, 50, of Guy, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 16, 2017. He was born May 23, 1967 in Conway to Larry and Ann Battles Grimes. Barry was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Darby Grimes.

Barry was of the Baptist faith and was Co-Owner/Operator of Grimes Construction until his father’s passing and then he became sole owner of the business. He enjoyed scuba diving, riding atvs, camping, boating, and vehicle restoration. Most of all Barry loved spending time with his family. He was a loving husband and father who was very dedicated to his family. Barry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Barry is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Susan, daughter, Olivia, mother, Ann Grimes, his sister, Amanda Passmore (George), numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and his faithful companion, Maverick.

Visitation is at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 19th with funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. at Copperas Springs Baptist Church. Bro. Ed Stephenson and Bro. Gary Burdin will be officiating. Burial will follow at Copperas Springs Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Holt, Bill Frye, Evan Sherwood, Phillip Knight, Bart Walters, and Ben Moffitt.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Red Cross of Little Rock, 401 S Monroe, Little Rock, AR 72205. Also an account has been set up for Olivia at First Security Bank in Greenbrier for a college donation.
