Jimmy Don Greene, 74, of Waldo, AR, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at his family’s home.
Jimmy Don was born on November 7, 1942 in Bodcaw, AR. He loved to hunt, fish, and go boating. In his younger years, he worked in the oilfield, raised a variety of livestock, and a passel of kids. He loved dogs, vacationing in Colorado, watching western movies, and to read.
Jimmy Don was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Herman and Mary Oleta (May) Greene. He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Stringer and husband Damon of Fayetteville, Melanie Greene and Keith Jackson of El Dorado, Tamara Greene of Mc Neil, Dianne Jetton of Magnolia, DeAnne Greene of Waldo, and Michelle Downs and husband Tommy of Stamps; son Michael Greene of Waldo; brother Robert Greene of Waldo; sister, Judy Greene Brazell of Magnolia; nieces, Stacie Brice and husband Scott of Magnolia and Kelli Key and husband Tony of Waldo; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great nieces, great nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home with a funeral service following at 2:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Adam Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at the Waldo Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia, AR.
Pallbearers will be John Madlock, Cullen Madlock, Miles Hilburn, Wesley Greene, Wayne McKamie, Hunter Brice, and Nicholas Stringer.
