December 4, 1902 - January 11, 1968

Howard M. Armer, aged 65, 610 North St., died Thursday night. He became ill at his home and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Mr. Armer was owner and operator of the A & H Ready to Wear at Cullendale, and had been a resident of Camden for twenty years. He was a member of Fairview Methodist Church, Camden Lion's Club, Chamber of Commerce, and was a past member of the City Board of Directors, and had served as a director of the Credit Bureau. Mr. Armer is survived by his wife, Mrs. Geneva Bailey Armer; one brother, Curtis Armer of Camden; three sisters, Mrs. E. L. Hammond of Camden, Mrs. Paul Harrell of El Dorado and Mrs. Vera Antoon of Little Rock. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Fairview Methodist Church with burial in Arlington Cemetery, El Dorado. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
