Andrew Louis “Boo” Landers, Jr., 83 of Rohwer, AR died Saturday July 21, 2012. Visitation will be 6-8pm Wednesday at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. A memorial service will be held at 10am Thursday at the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Head and Rev. Ben White officiating.

Mr. Landers was born in Rohwer, AR a son of the late Andrew Louis and Carrie Mae Tedder Landers. He attended Kelso High School and served in the U.S. Army. He fought in the Korean Conflict where he was wounded and he received a Purple Heart.

Mr. Landers was a farmer all his adult life. He was very active and involved with the McGehee, AR Chamber of Commerce during the late 1960s and early 1970s. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of McGehee, AR and was an avid deer and hog hunter.

Mr. Landers was preceded in death by his son Louis Boyd Landers. Survivors include his daughter, Lisa (Chuck) Ramsey of Owasso, OK; sister, Sue Terry of Westfield, IN; grandchildren , Ashley (Jon) Oxton, Charles (Samantha) Ramsey and James (Georgia) Ramsey, great-grandchildren, Madison Oxton, Lindsey Oxton, Alexis Ramsey and Ansley Ramsey and Savannah Ramsey.
