Mrs. Ada McGaugh, 84, of Camden, died in a Smackover hospital Sunday afternoon. Born in Choctaw County, Mississippi, Dec. 24, 1882, she was the daughter of Perry and Nannie Cox Orr. She had been a resident of El Dorado for 52 years before moving to Camden. She as a member of the First Assembly of God Church of El Dorado. Survivors include seven sons, Lloyd McGaugh of Coos Bay, Ore., Mervin W. McGaugh, J. F. McGaugh, G. T. McGaugh, L. L. McGaugh, all of El Dorado and Rev. A. C. McGaugh of Texarkana, Ark., two daughters, Mrs. W. B. Daniels of Camden and Mrs. K. C. Bridges of El Dorado, one sister, Mrs. Beaulah McGaugh, Big Springs, Tex.; 26 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the El Dorado First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Erling Saxelid and the Rev. W. B. Grigsby officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. Pallbearers are nephews, Vernon McGaugh, William McGaugh, Olen McGaugh, Clyde Mcgaugh, Fernie McGaugh and Cooksey Carelock. The family will be at the J. F. McGaugh residence of 1802 Lauri St. (El Dorado Times - October 16, 1967)
