MONTICELLO — Margaret Bush Morrison Jarrett, 87, of Monticello, formerly of McGehee, died Tuesday at Drew Memorial Hospital at Monticello.

She was born Aug. 10, 1919, at Paducah, Ky., a daughter of the late William Morrison and Bessie Wagner Morrison.

She was a member of First Baptist Church at McGehee, where she taught the children's Sunday school class. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at McGehee, the North Highway Home Demonstration Club at McGehee, the Hospital Auxiliary and the Nursing Home Auxiliary at McGehee.

Survivors include three sons, Sonny E. Jarrett, James R. Jarrett and John William Jarrett, all of Monticello; one daughter, Linda Jarrett Johnson of Pine Bluff; one brother, Jack B. Morrison of Little Rock; one sister, Jo Ann Sawyer of Decatur, Ala.; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Earl Jarrett; two sons, Tommy Jarrett and Jackie Jarrett; and two daughters, Janice Jarrett Barlow and Betty M. Jarrett Hartness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church at McGehee with Tommy Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in McGehee Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Service at McGehee.
