LOWELL — Robert Kincy Jr., 89, of Lowell entered into rest Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, in Rogers. He was born Dec. 27, 1924, to Robert E. Lee Kincy and Clara Adell Able Kincy at Fort Cobb, Okla.

He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the European Theatre with the 124th anti-aircraft battalion during the Battle of the Bulge. Following WWII, he re-enlisted to serve with the 32nd field artillery battalion during the Cold War, prior to the Korean Conflict.

He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Arkansas Razorbacks fan. He enjoyed coin collecting, dominoes, fishing, camping and gardening, but loved the times he shared with his wife, children and grandchildren.

For 49 years he was the loving husband of Louise Helen McGinnis Kincy who, along with his parents and all eight of his siblings, preceded him in death.

Survivors include a son, Ed Kincy and his wife, Mary Ann, of Bentonville; a daughter, Debbie Huskey and her husband, Randy, of Rogers; three grandchildren, Devin Huskey, Dustin Huskey and his wife, Addle Black, and Rebecca Kincy; and a great-grandchild, Zander Huskey.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, and the funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, both at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Interment will follow at Oakley Chapel Cemetery in Rogers.
