Willis F. Hopper, 91, of McGehee died Sunday at McGehee Desha County Hospital in McGehee.
He was born February 16, 1918 in Tinsman, AR to the late Frank Hopper and Mary Hettie Williams Hopper.
He was an engineer for MoPac Railroad for 39 years, a member of the Cotton Pickers Campers Club, and a member of First Baptist Church of McGehee.
He loved to garden and fish.
He is survived by two sons: Willis Franklin Hopper, Jr. and wife, Donna Hopper of Benton, AR, Ronald R. Hopper and wife Diana Hopper of Maumell, AR , one daughter: Karen Cowen and husband, Fred Cowen of McGehee, ten grandchildren , fourteen great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 pm at Griffin Funeral Service in McGehee.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at First Baptist Church in McGehee with Rev. Ed Balducci officiating, burial will follow in McGehee Cemetery.
Under the direction of Griffin Funeral Service of McGehee.
