Rogers — W. C. Bassett, 92, died yesterday in a Bentonville nursing home. He was born Sept. 26, 1873, at Greenwood and was a refined farmer and butcher. He was a Methodist.
Survivors are three sons, Ralph of Wichita, Kan., Stonewall of Enterprise, Ala., and Marshall of St. Louis; one daughter, Mrs. Clyde Duncan of Bentonville; one sister, Mrs. Jeff McClendon of Oakdale, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Callison Chapel with burial in Oakley's Chapel Cemetery.
