Richard Lorenzo Hill 84 of McGehee, AR passed away Monday October 10, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR.
He was a member of McGehee First Baptist Church, Desha Lodge #643, Claude C. Jayne American Legion Post #79 and a volunteer fireman for the McGehee Fire Department.
Mr. Hill is preceded in death by his parents Homer Hill and Mary Garcia Hill, first wife Lorraine Butler Hill, two brothers; Homer Hill Jr., Clarence Hill, and a sister; Louise Bray.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Hill of McGehee, AR, a daughter Kay Thibault of McGehee, AR, and a sister Juanita Gammel of Los Alamos, N.M.
Funeral Services will be held at Griffin Funeral Chapel 2:00pm Friday October 15, 2010 with Brother Ed Balducci and Rick Miller officiating. Visitation will be Thursday October 14, 2010 at Griffin Funeral Service from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Burial will follow at McGehee Cemetery.
The family asks that memorials be made to McGehee First Baptist Church, Salvation Army, McGehee Library, or Charity of Choice.
