Berry, James Wilson, "son of A.I. Berry died at his home in Springdale [Wash Co] Saturday morning of last week shortly after 2:00 a.m. He had been ill with tuberculosis for sometime & death was the result of hemorrhages. Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church South at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, conducted by Rev. Brumley with interment following in the cemetery at Hindsville, the old home of the family. Deceased was born at Hindsville July 29, 1886 with 18 yrs of his life spent in the western states, returning to Ark 2 years ago to assist in caring for his aged father who resides on Emma Ave. He professed a faith in Christ Sat before his death. He is survived by his father, 3 sisters Miss Mable of Springdale; Mrs L.D. Rogers of Booneville [Logan Co] & Mrs Sigman Pennington of Prince Albert, Canada and a brother W.W. of LaGrande, Oregon."
