Everett Dale Mobbs (Butch), 65, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2015. He was born July 22, 1949 in Keo, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Oak Grove High School, member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and the Men’s Club, the Pine Bluff Hunting Club and was a Little League Football Coach in Oak Grove. Butch loved traveling through the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming with his wife Kathy.
He is survived by wife of 47 years, Kathy Dycus Mobbs; son, Tony Mobbs, of Little Rock; grandson, Jaccob Mobbs, of Carrollton, Georgia; two sisters, Connie Strozyk (Charlie) of North Little Rock and Christy Johnson, of England, Arkansas; his mother, Norma Dale Howard Gentry; and five brothers, Billy Goss (Sherri) of Bigelow, Ronnie Mobbs (Marcy) of Cabot, Lonnie Mobbs (Jan) of Benton, Evert Mobbs (Michelle) of Gallatin, Tennessee and Terry Mobbs (Karen) of Orange Beach, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his birth dad, Evert Lee Mobbs; step dad, Bill Goss; grandparents, Nora Munnerlyn and James Howard and Dora and Lando Mobbs.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., June 20th at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, 6:00-8:00 p.m., June 19th, at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home.
