*Obituary
Dewel R. Spencer, 35, died at 7:55 p.m., Sunday at his home, 406 Artesian Street, following a long illness.
A native of Redwater, Texas, he had been employed as a welder. He had lived in West Memphis, Ark.,for about four years, and moved back to Texarkana four weeks ago. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Oneta Spencer; a daughter, Sherry Drucilla Spencer; two sons, Bruce Wayne and Michael Spencer, all of Texarkana; his mother, Mrs. Sally Audrey Spencer of Redwater; three brothers, Walter and Carrol Lee Spencer, both
of Redwater; and James Darvin Spencer of Beaumont, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. E.J. McDonald and Mrs. Ross Black, both of Redwater, and Miss Wanda Ray Spencer of Dallas.
The body will remain at Texarkana Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements.
