Beverley Jane Williams Wiseman, daughter of the late Henry Williams and Edra Bordeaux Williams, was born July 13, 1943 in Santa Monica, California. She departed this life January 8, 2017 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 74 years, 5 months and 26 days after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was united in marriage to Norman Wiseman August 27, 1979 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Beverley spent her life as a loving daughter, niece, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. Most of her working years were spent as the Postmaster of Dolph, retiring after 20 years of employment. She loved animals and had many, many rescues over the years, and found homes for countless others.
She is survived by one daughter: Jennifer Houghtaling and husband James of Pineville; two grandsons: Quentin Houghtaling and wife Renea of Viola and Ethan Houghtaling and wife Andrea of Elizabeth;two great grandchildren: Damon and Maddon Houghtaling of Elizabeth, who were a source of joy and happiness the past 3 years; and a host of other relative and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Wild Cherry Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
