Graveside services for Mrs. Mildred Bishop McWilliams, age 101, will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at the Marysville Cemetery, Marysville, AR, with Rev. Larry Goza officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville, LA.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2016, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville.
Mrs. McWilliams was born on September 14, 1915 to Jasper and Mary Vinson Bishop in Marysville, AR and passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 in Springhill, LA. She was a member of the Haynesville United Methodist Church where she was a longtime nursery worker. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and gardening and spent the majority of her life caring for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Ronny McWilliams and wife, Pat of Shongaloo, LA; three grandchildren, Ricky McWilliams and wife, Britney of Shongaloo, Robby McWilliams and wife, Danielle of Benton, LA, Kellie Lewis and husband, Donnie of Sarepta; step grandchildren, Angie Frames of Hoover, AL, Russ Benson of Springhill; six great-grandchildren, Lauren McWilliams, Brooke Fisher, Sarah Kate McWilliams, Noah McWilliams, Abigail McWilliams, Landon Lewis; and numerous step-great grandchildren.
Mrs. McWilliams was preceded in death by parents, husband, Wallace McWilliams, daughter, Carolyn Rose Jones, and numerous siblings.
