Lois Virginia Garrison, 73, of McGehee, died January 14, 1998, at Jefferson
Regional Medical Center.
She was born on September 2, 1924, at Monroe, a daughter of the late C.T.
Windham and Sadie Armstrong Windham.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Franklin Garrison Jr.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Garrison of Thornton, Colorado and Gary
Garrison of Jacksonville; nine daughters, Shirley Peacock of Monticello,
Bonnie Estrada of Joyce, Louisiana, Rita Minchew of McGehee, Anastacia McCoy
of Sherman, Texas, Barbara White and Janice Tigue, both of Hereford, Texas,
Paula Smith of Hot Springs, and Karen Minchew and Sandra Garrison, both of
Pine Bluff; four brothers, John Ferrell of Warren, Jack Windham of North
Little Rock, Charles Windham of McGehee and Clarence Windham of Selma (Drew
County); four sisters, Pearl Mays of Jackson, Mississippi, Roma Keeling of
North Little Rock, Ouida Blackwell of Mobile, Alabama and Sherry Hilburn of
Kelso (Desha County); 42 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and four
great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at South McGehee Baptist
Church with the Rev. Will Pounds officiating. Burial will be in McGehee
Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Service of McGehee.
