Jack Day, Former Bonita Man, Dies In McGehee, Ark.

Jack Day, formerly of Bonita, died in a Helena, Ark., hospital Friday from injuries received in a train wreck. He had live in McGehee, Ark., for many years.

Day had been employed by the Missouri Pacific Railroad for 20 years. He was engineer on a freight train which was derailed near Felton Thursday and was pinned under the wreckage for three hours. The funeral took place Sunday in McGehee.

His wife, the former Bernice Jones, is the daughter of Mrs. Bessie Jones of Bonita, and the late Buatt Jones.
