Louis Frank Greenlee, 76, of Rt. 2, died in a local hospital early Sunday morning. Mr. Greenlee was born on Aug. 5, 1889, and was the son of Jim and Annie Hogue Greenlee. He was a member of the Methodist Church, a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Katie Bankston Greenlee of El Dorado; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Pendergast of Kirkwood, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Marlin Mason of Freeport, Tex.; one brother, O. D. (Tibb) Greenlee of Shreveport, La.; and two grandsons. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Pratt's Chapel with Rev. Sam Shepperson officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Frank Meeks, W. M. Meeks, John L. Bell, Clyde Tolbert, Billy Christian, W. P. Christian, Cecil Conner, Lee Johnston, C. C. Hammack and Dr. Frank Clark. (The El Dorado Times - June 21, 1965)
