Mrs. Sadie Emily Primm, 69, pf Rt. 6, died Sunday morning in a local hospital following a short illness. Mrs. Primm was born in Union County Feb. 8, 1900, the daughter of Frank and Hattie Sessoms Ragsdale. She was a lifelong resident of Union County and a member of the Midway Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Ernest V. Primm, El Dorado; two sons, W. C. Primm, Orange, Tex. and Bill Primm, Shreveport, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Hattie Smith, El Dorado; one brother, Judge J. G. Ragsdale, El Dorado; one sister, Nadine Sturdivant, Corpus Christi, Tex.; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. Ples Major and the Rev. Floyd Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery under the Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. Active pallbearers will be Robert Ragsdale, Felix Harris, Donald Canady, Joe Sewell, B. A. Sessons, and W. R. Crawford. (El Dorado Times - June 30, 1969)
