SPRINGDALE — Odell Lee Graves, 84, of Springdale, Ark., passed away on the morning of June 17, 2017. Odell was born on June 4, 1934, to Ed Graves and Lealer May Dovie Graves.
He is preceded in death by his wife Brenda Graves who passed away in 2016, and his parents.
Odell was in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was an electrician and a general contractor who enjoyed working and always staying busy. He enjoyed westerns and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by four sons, Kevin Graves-Derrybery of California, Brian Graves of Bella Vista, Barry Graves of Tontitown and Bradley Graves of Ada, Okla.; two daughters, Sherri Childress of Duncan, Okla., and Dalene Garrett; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He also had former step-children and step-grandchildren that remained very meaningful to him throughout his life.
A brief service will be held in his honor at the Revival Tabernacle, 2608 E. Emma Ave. in Springdale, at 3 p.m. on Saturday June 24. Odell will be laid to rest at Wilson Cemetery. Please visit Odell's online memorial at www.WestfieldChapel.com.
