Eugene Carter,71, died Wednesday April 20, 2005 at his home in Marshall. He was a army veteran.
He was born February 1, 1934 to James Thomas and Edith Jordan Carter in Oxley, Arkansas. He attended Leslie elementary and high school, but earned his GED while in the army.
Survivors include one daughter, Cathy Hollingsworth and her husband, Brooks, and one grandson, Carter Hollingsworth all of Conway; two sisters Billie Alean Hoobler of Franklin, Tennessee and Jimmie Sue Mathis and husband George of Chandler, Arizona.
Services are Tuesday 10 AM, graveside at Kuykendall Cemetery. Rev. Dean Houslely will officiate.
