Roger Dale Johnson of Marianna passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, September 25 in Forrest City, Arkansas, at the age of 60.Roger was born on May 21, 1948 in Marianna to Cam and Zula Mann Johnson. He worked as Factory Supervisor, manufacturing Automobile Seats.Roger loved to spend time fishing, and he enjoyed riding his lawn mower.Loved ones surviving him are Wanda, his wife of 42 years; daughter Sheila Butler and husband Chris, of Marianna; grandson Christopher Dale Butler of Marianna; three sisters: Roberta Paulman and husband James of Brickeys, AR; Cammie Benham of Pigram TN; and Rose Edmonson and husband Tommy of Lufkin, TX; five brothers: Virgil Johnson & wife Maxine of Moro, AR; Delbert and wife Ruby of Olive Branch, MS; J. C. Johnson and wife Joyce; Walter Johnson and wife Barbara; John and wife Janie, all of Marianna; and a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews; and many friends.Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Cam and Zula Johnson; and brothers Jack, Laburne, R.C., Huey, and Kim.Services will be held on Monday at 10.00 a.m. in Roller-Citizens Chapel in Marianna, with burial following in Marianna Memorial Park. Rev. Gregory Mills will officiate.Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, also at the Chapel.
