Marianna Memorial Park (Marianna) Cemetery
Lee County,
Arkansas

1936 - 2010

Beth Wright Hodge of Marianna went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2010 at the age of 76.

Beth was born on June 21, 1936 to Major and Ruby Wright in Gainesville, Georgia.

She attended Business School, and worked for some years as Medical Office Manager for Dr. Vasudaven.

She and Norris Hodge were married on April 28, 1981 in Marianna, where they made their home.
Beth was a member of First Christian Church of Marianna, and a well-loved member of Circle of Grace, the Church's Ladies group. She was always ready to help whenever she could. She loved flowers, and loved to work in her yard, which was always lovely. Beth had adopted several dogs, and she loved them dearly, especially Julli, her black toy poodle.

She is survived by Norris Hodge, her husband of 29 years; son Eric Conner of Tennille, GA; daughters Dawn Barrett of Brandon, FL; Kathy Hodge of Lacey, WA; Kelli Hodge of Marianna; and Lisa Bietel of Texas; sister Virginia Williams of Gillsville, GA; four grandsons and one granddaughter; other relatives and many, many friends.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Major and Ruby Wright; and one daughter, Alexis "Ardee" Miller.

Services were held at First Christian Church of Marianna, with Brother Richard Craven officiating. Burial was in Marianna Memorial Park.
