Wilma Jane Rodgers of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away February 18, 2013 at the age of 74 from COPD complications.
Wilma was born May 29, 1938 at Decatur, Alabama to Lee Asbury and Lula Bell Carter. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Mountain View.
She is survived by her husband David Rodgers of Mountain View; daughters, Jacquelyn (Danny) Burko of Ely, Nevada, Vicki (Bill) Lynch of Mountain View, Crystal (Bobby) Copeland of Gassville, Arkansas, Wendy (Tim) Smith of Mountain View, and Davida (Rodney) Smith of Mountain View; one brother L.C. (Gail) Carter of Deming, New Mexico; sister, Cora Lee Nunnelley of Alamogordo, New Mexico; sixteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Gertrude Carter and Edna Millican, two grandsons, Jonathan Moxley and Jordan Day.
Visitation will be Friday, February 22, 2013 from 6-8PM at Church of God in Mountain View. Funeral will be Saturday, February 23, 2013, 2:00PM also at Church of God in Mountain View. Burial will be at Spoonflat Cemetery in Fifty Six, Arkansas with Bobby Copeland and Joseph Blake officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Lynch, Joshua Copeland, Jesse Smith, Dakota Smith, Rickey Linville, and Dalton Malloy. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Burko, Bill Lynch, Tim Smith, Rodney Smith, Anthony Higgins, Aaron Higgins, Leon Shipman, and Steve Ellithorpe.
