R.L. Henderson, age 78, of Norfork passed away Monday, August 29, 2005, at his residence. He was born December 5, 1926, in McPherson, Arkansas to the late James Henry and Sarah Frances (Franks) Henderson. He married Maxine White March 7, 1948, in Norfork. He was a member of the Bethel Springs Mennonite Church and served in the United States Navy.

Mr. Henderson is survived by his wife; Maxine Henderson of the home; two sons, Wayne Henderson and wife Amanda and Gerald Henderson and wife Jolene both of Lebanon, Missouri; three daughters, Rhonda Parker and husband Richard of Thayer, Missouri, Sheila Nozar and husband Donald of Norfork and Jone Beaver and husband Lynn of Norfork; one brother, Boyce Henderson of Norfork; twelve grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 1, 2005, at Lone Rock Baptist Church with Pastor Edward Morgan officiating. Visitation will be held from noon - 9:00 PM Wednesday at the Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Interment will be in Burnt School House Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Lone Rock Cemetery Fund.

Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
