SPRINGDALE — Frank Edward Macon, 68, of Springdale passed away Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Sept. 10, 1946, in Springdale to Floyd Edward and Olga Johnson Macon.
Frank was a devout christian and regularly attended Revival Tabernacle of Springdale and Forum Assembly of God in Forum, Ark. Frank retired from SWEPCO.
He enjoyed working on cars, gardening, pulling practical jokes and making people laugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Patty Macon of the home; two sons, Shane W. Macon and wife Marie of Springdale and Shad Macon and wife, Tamara of Springdale; six grandchildren, Tyler W., Tayler E., Teagan M. Macon and Jacob K., Whitley J. and Tanner Barnes and his fourlegged companion, Smokey.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at 2pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale officiated by Terry Hatfield. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Tyler Macon, Tayler Macon, Tanner Barnes, Michael Cain, Junior Johnson and Billy Burns. Honorary pallbearers are Teagan Macon, Jacob Barnes, Michael Bittick and Eddie Donaldson.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Forum Assembly of God in Forum, Ark., and Revival Tabernacle, 2608 E. Emma Ave., Springdale, AR 72764.
