Mark Clayton Anderson, age 65, of Shirley, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. Born in Joliet, Illinois, on October 1, 1948, he was the son of Phyllis Jean Rogers Hanson and the late Forrest Clayton Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a former auto worker. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Scott Allen Anderson. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Pamela Anderson of Shirley; two sons, Mark Allen Anderson of Illinois and Christopher Lee Anderson, Sr. of Florida; two daughters, Jennifer Anderson of Illinois and Susie Martin of Irving, Texas; his mother, Phyllis Jean Rogers Hanson of Fairfield Bay; and one sister, Victoria Watson and husband, Keith, of Greers Ferry. Mr. Anderson is also survived by other relatives and his many friends. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 28, at 2:00 p.m. in the Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Carl Trahan-True officiating. Interment was at Woodland Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home. www.olmstead.cc
