Phyllis Hanley, age 78, of Edgemont, Arkansas, passed away on August 1, 2015 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on March 12, 1937 in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Lynn Leichhardt and Edna Coulson Leichhardt.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Earl Hanley and her daughter Tracy Rice.
She is survived by her daughter Kim Norris of Higden, Arkansas, her brother Richard Leichhardt, her grandchildren Ty Joseph Norris and Angel Dawn Norris Robinson and her great-grandchildren Carson Joseph Norris, Parker Andrew Robinson, Heaven Dawn Robinson and Asher Mal-ak Robinson. Mrs. Hanley is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at woodland Memorial Park in Edgemont, Arkansas with Jimmy Peacock officiating.

James Earl Hanley of Edgemont, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Born in Jackson County on June 27, he was the son of the late Aubrey and Irene (Mcfadden) Hanley.
Mr. Hanley had been employed in the sale of marine products. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hanley was preceded in death by one daughter, Tracy Lynn Rice.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Hanley of Edgemont; one daughter, Kim Hanley Silva and her husband, Keith, of Higden; one brother, Sam Hanley of Russellville; one sister, Jackye Peacock of McCrory; two grandchildren, Ty Norris and Angel Robinson and her husband, Andy; and two great-grandchildren, Parker Robinson and Heaven Robinson. Mr. Hanley is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 1, at 4:00 p.m. at the Woodland Chapel with Jim Peacock officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Memorial Park.
