Artie Ople Edgin of Marianna, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the age of 91 years.
She was born on September 16, 1917 to Oscar Burton and Josephine Villines Burton in Jasper, Arkansas. She married Gordon Edgin, and made a home for their family.
Artie is survived by sons Glean Edgin of Aubrey, AR; Robert Edgin and wife JoAnn of Wynne, AR; Henry Edgin and wife Bay of Marianna; and Hubert Edgin, also of Marianna; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Josephine Burton, her husband, Gordon Edgin; two brothers and two sisters.
Services will be held graveside at Marianna Memorial Park
on Friday, July 10th at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
