H.L. Bud Due
Hubert L. "Bud" Due, 90, of Ravenden, died May 29, 2009, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 4, 1918, at Cave City, he was the son of Walden Rolf and Vertie Carpenter Due. He was a farmer and was a member of the Church of Christ of Opposition.
Survivors include his wife, Irma Halstead Due, whom he married on Dec. 4, 1957; two sons, Buford Due and wife Johnna, and Donnie Hancock and wife Vicky, all of Ravenden; a sister, Effie Higginbotham, Dixon, Mo.; and a grandson, Kierce Due.
Graveside service was Monday at 2 p.m. at Opposition Cemetery at Ravenden with Wayne Pickett and A.J. Stracener officiating. Bryan Funeral Home of Imboden had charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Wayne Pickett, Winston Meeks, Danny Holder, Bob Hendon, Larry Gibbons and Paul Due.
