Vida Pearl Wilson Doyel, formerly of Marianna, went to meet the Lord on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at age 91.

Pearl was born in Mississippi on February 9, 1919 to Lee and Lucy Wilson. She married James Vital Doyel in Washington DC in 1945, and worked as a Public School Teacher for many years, in addition to being a Real Estate Broker, Cosmetologist, Insurance Agent, and Business Owner. She served in the Navy, and was a member of the American Legion and First Baptist Church of Marianna.

Pearl is survived by son James Alan Doyel and wife Karen of Lenoir City, TN; daughters Wanda Aileen Clark and husband Larry of Gainesville, FL, and Alyce Hardee and husband Michael of Conway, AR; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law Marilyn Berry and Sybil O'Neal, and many friends.

Loved ones preceding her in death were her husband, James; her parents, Lee and Lucy Wilson; seven sisters; and granddaughter Tiffany Ann Clark.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, at First Baptist Church of Marianna, with burial to follow at Marianna Memorial Park.

Visitation will be on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, also in Marianna.
