William Heywood Daggett, 83, a graduate of Yale Law School and senior partner of Daggett, Daggett and Vandover law firm of Marianna, died Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. Mr. Daggett, husband of Laverne May Daggett, is survived by daughters Nelia Cunningham of Knoxville, Tenn., Lyda Laneville and Johnna Daggett, both of Memphis, Julia Mixon of Marianna, and Sallie Moore Dievendorf of Alexandria, Va., as well as a son, Bert Daggett of Little Rock. He also is survived by his sister Jessamine Daggett Gist and brother Jimmason Jackson Daggett, both of Marianna, as well as ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church where he was a communicant, with burial in Marianna Memorial Park.
