Chester the son of John Taylor Beary and Kathryn Eldora (Shanklin) Beary. Beulah Lee (Stewart) Beary the daughter of Filmore Leroy Stewart and Perditta "Ditta" Elizabeth (Davis) Stewart.

POWHATAN -- Chester L. Beary, 86, of Powhatan died Saturday, Jan. 25, at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center.
Born in Walnut Ridge, he was a retired farmer, a Navy veteran of World War II and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah Beary of the home; one daughter, Carolyn McInteer of Kansas City, Kan.; one son, Leroy Beary of Powhatan; one brother, Leonard D. Beary of Galesburg, Ill.; one sister, Opal Rose of Galesburg; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor and Kitty Beary, one daughter and one grandson.
A memorial service has been scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Black Rock, with Andy Pulford officiating.
Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie is in charge of arrangements.

POWHATAN -- Beulah L. Beary, 89, of Powhatan passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006.
She was born June 22, 1917, in Lawrence County, the daughter of Chester and Perditta "Dittie" Elizabeth (Davis) Stewart.
Mrs. Beary was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief.
Mrs. Beary is survived by a son, Leroy Beary of Powhatan; a daughter, Carolyn McInteer of Kansas City, Kan.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Memorial services are at 2 p.m. today in Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church at Eaton under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home.
