MARIANNA, Ark

Philomena "Phyllis" Christenson died January 29, 1999, at Lee County, Arkansas. Mrs. Christenson was born Philomena Weber on August 10, 1919, at Victoria, Kansas.

She was a retired registered nurse and was a member of the Ar Nursing Association, AM Nursing Association, Red Cross Nurse, past state president of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, state president Council of Catholic Women.

Survivors included three sisters, Maggie Gassman and Odilia Riedel, both of Park, Kansas, and Marie Meir of Manlo, Kansas; six brothers, Henry Weber of Colby, Kansas, George, Sil and Larry Weber, all of Salina, Kansas, Martin Weber of Oakley, Kansas, and Al Weber of Park, Kansas.

Funeral held at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Marianna, with burial in Marianna Memorial Park.
