ROGERS — Avyonne C. Tisdale, 66, of Rogers died Aug. 26, 2008, in Conroe, Texas. She was born Oct. 5, 1941, in Rogers to Herman Eual and Myrtle Johnson Cox.
She was a lifetime resident of Rogers and retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville. She also worked for Daisy Manufacturing in Rogers for a number of years. She enjoyed attending flea markets and cooking. She was a member of Mims Baptist Church in Conroe.
Survivors include her husband, Wendell Tisdale of the home; her son, Nicky Tisdale and wife Debbie of Springdale; two daughters, Vicki Gale of Conroe and Andrea Acrey and husband Cash of Fayetteville; two sisters, Uvyonne Cole and Judy Young, both of Conroe; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, online at www.mem.com.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.
Memorials may he made to Mims Baptist Church in Conroe.
