Mr. Willie Haynes, age 91, of Marianna, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at Crestpark Retirement Inn in Forrest City. Mr. Haynes was a member of Morning Star M.B. Church where he was a deacon for 35 years. He is survived by 10 daughters, Curstine Doss, of Springfield, Ill., Carrie Bogart, of Marianna, Versie Kimble, Fannie Gardner, Vinetta Cross and Lucy Moore, all of Forrest City, Annie Cleveland, Mavis Barthley, Avis Jones and Kathy Floyd, all of Dallas, Texas; five sons, Willie Haynes, of Chicago, Ill., Wilbert Haynes, of Palestine, Wesley Haynes, of Marianna, Burlon Haynes, of Madison, Rev. Cassius Haynes, of Dallas Texas; 54 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Haynes will be Friday, Oct. 20, 2000, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Kennedy Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at 11 a.m. at Rising Sun M. B. Church in Forrest City with Rev. John Strong and Rev. Calvin Smith Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Cemetery in Marianna under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
