SPRINGDALE — Nettie Jane Eagle, 82, of Springdale passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Oct. 14, 1934, in Baxter, Mo., to Riley and Bessie Isaac Bilyeu.
Nettie worked for Tyson Foods for many years. She was a very active member of the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ. She enjoyed knitting, reading, baking and canning.
She was preceded in death by parents, sons, Roger Eagle and Stanley Eagle; daughters, Nancy Potts and Sarah Griffin; two brothers, Bill Bilyeu and Bob Bilyeu and one half brother, Max Bronson.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Eagle of Cave Springs and Johnny Eagle and wife Tammy of Muskogee, Okla.; son-in-law, Wesley Griffin of Springdale; one daughter, Debbie Charapata and husband Rich of Rogers; two sisters, Minnie Allen of Golden, Mo., and Melba and husband Dewey of Witter, Ark.; 12 grandchildren, Kristen Griffin and husband Adam Holbert of Springdale, Rachel Eagle of Lowell, Chelsea Eagle of Cave Springs, Allison Eagle of Cave Springs, Caroline Campbell and husband Jared of Springdale, Alyssa Allison and husband Josh of Johnson, Jonathan Eagle of Fayetteville, John Michael Eagle of Hebner, Okla., Keisha Miller of Bates, Ark., Tyler Eagle of Muskogee, Okla., James Griffin of Springdale and Anthony Briggs and wife Trista of Fayetteville and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday. Sept. 6, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Robinson Avenue Church of Christ with Harry Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, from 5-7 p.m. at the Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
