SPRINGDALE — William H. Baker, 70 of Springdale, Ark., passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015, in Fayetteville. He was born March 8, 1945, in Nowata, Okla., to Louis Baker and Gwendolyn Baker (Price).

William was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Upon retirement from truck driving, he was employed by the Army Corp of Engineers.

He is survived by his wife Pamela Baker, three sons; Dwayne Baker and his wife Holly of Springdale, Ark., Lee Baker of Rogers, Ark., Timothy Baker and his wife Hollie of Bentonville, Ark., and four grandchildren; Cheyenne Baker, Taylor Baker, Hannah Baker, and Aaron Cheesman; and one sister, Mary Duncan of Delaware, Okla.

William was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bull and Bobby Baker.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday June 11 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Pastor Galen Pearcy officiating.
