Nell Mercer Eddleman, 93, of Aubrey, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 while a resident at Perry County Nursing Center, Perryville, Arkansas. She was born November 2, 1921 in Perry County, Tenneessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Myrtle Whitwell Mercer, her husband, James Woodrow Eddleman of fifty years, seven brothers, Elmer, Paul, Clint (Doc), Edger (Dude), Dick, Rex and Donald Mercer, one sister, Faye Mercer Eddleman. She is survived by two sisters, Jimmie Aydelotte, of Chicago, Il; and Jeanette Powell, of White Lake, MI; her children, Nina Johnson, of Hot Springs Village, Kenneth Eddleman, of Germantown, TN; Mike Eddleman, of Conroe, TX; and Steve Eddleman, of Bryant, AR; eight grandchildren and thirteen great – grandchildren.
She was a devoted wife and mother. A faithful member of the Aubrey Church of Christ, and had a deep love for her family and church. She loved spending hours visiting with family and friends or being a caregiver to whomever needed help. The wife of a farmer, she loved the outdoors and her flowers, especially Iris.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to American Diabetes Association, 212 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72205 or the Charity of your choice.

Services for Nell Eddleman will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Roller – Citizens Funeral Home, Marianna. Visitation will be held prior to services at 1:00 P.M. also at Roller – Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Marianna Memorial Park. Roller – Citizens Funeral Home, Marianna (870) 295- 2528 has charge of arrangements.
