Hazel Eliene (Richey) Blevins the daughter of Albert Leo Richey and Lois Rosetta (Pearson) Richey.
Hazel Eliene Blevins, 72 of Lynn, passed away May 27, 2017.
She was born September 19, 1944 in Eaton, Arkansas; to Albert and Louise Preson Richey. She was united in marriage to Bill Blevins on October 29, 1960. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a retired owner and secretary of Blevins Trucking. She enjoyed gardening, canning and flowers. She was an active member of the Lake Charles Full Gospel Temple, where she loved her God, her church and her church family.
Preceded in death by her parents; one son, Wayne Blevins; one brother, Franklin D. Rickey, one sister, Helen Richmond and a daughter-n-law, Pauline Curtis.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bill of the home; two sons, Terry and Teddy Blevins both of Lynn; one brother, James Leo Richey of Bearden; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 1 P.M. in the Lake Charles Full Gospel Temple with Bro. Joe Guthrie officiating. Pallbearers will be Sammy Blevins, Tony Fowler, Colton and Zack Johnson, Blaine Davis and Heath Russell. Honorary Pallbearers are Hunter Wenzel, Jamie and Brad Nunnaly, Chris, Sam and Josh Blevins. Interment will follow in the Old Lebanon Cemetery near Lynn.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. in the Bryan Funeral Home.
