Rosettta Henson Lovelace, 90, of Little Rock, Arkansas born February 20, 1927, departed this life on Saturday, July 8, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maggie Henson; husband, Willie C. Lovelace Sr.; sister, Henrietta Turner; brother, James David "Deacon" Oliver; sons, Willie C. Lovelace Jr., Ray Thatis Lovelace and Billy Joe Lovelace. She leaves to cherish her memories four sons, John (Catherine) Lovelace, Isaac Lovelace, Richard (Charlene) Lovelace and Elvis (Lisa) Lovelace; three daughters, Dorothy (Lonnie) Martin, Juanita (Ron) Stewart and Linda (Vance) Laster of Little Rock, Arkansas; brother-in-law, Booker T. Lovelace and sister-in-law, Louise Oliver; 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family visitation Thursday, July 13, 2017, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202 (501) 372-1305. Home going services will be at 11 a.m., on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Greater Second Baptist Church, 5615 Geyer Springs Rd., Little Rock, Arkansas 72209.

Interment: Monday, July 17, 2017 at 1 p.m., at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Arkansas.


Willie C. Lovelace Sr. 92 of Little Rock, Arkansas born September 1, 1920, passed away March 10, 2013. He served in the United States Army, World War II, in the 92nd Infantry Division Known as the “Buffalo Soldiers Division”. He was a Master Mason of Shamrock Lodge #25 at Little Rock Arkansas since March 17, 1965. He retired from the Veterans Hospital after 30 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents Scottie and Bertha Lovelace; two sons, Willie C. Lovelace Jr. and Billy Joe Lovelace; a brother, Scottie Lovelace Jr.; and sister, Lula Lovelace Green.

He’s survived by his wife, Rosetta Henson Lovelace; five sons, John (Catherine) Lovelace, Isaac (Joyce) Lovelace, Richard (Charlene) Lovelace all of Little Rock, AR., Ray (Barbara) Lovelace of Mesquite, TX., and Elvis (Lisa) Lovelace of Little Rock, Arkansas; three daughter, Elder Dorothy Lovelace (Lonnie) Martin Juanita Lovelace (Ron) Stewart and Linda Lovelace (Vance) Laster; one brother, Booker Lovelace, Sr.; and one sister, Bertha Lovelace Scott; two sister in laws, Henrietta Turner and Louise Oliver; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Home going services will be on Friday, March 15, 2013, 11:00 am, at Greater Second Baptist Church, 5615 Geyer Springs Rd. LR. Interment will follow with honors at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave. NLR, AR. Family visitation will be Thursday, March 14, 2013, 6-7 pm, at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester St. LR (501) 372-1305.
