Wife of Garland Choic Knight, US NAVY, AMS3, KOREA, VIETNAM
Y'Onnie Marie Knight, age 74, of Conway, Ark., went home to be with her Lord, on Wednesday, March 20, 2013.
Y'Onnie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Saltillo Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy (Lawrence) Baker; two sisters; and a brother.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Garland Chois Knight; sons, Duane Knight (Karen) and "Skeeter" Knight; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister Mamie Sipe of Ohio.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 25, at Saltillo Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Thomas presiding, with the eulogy given by Bro. Randy Noles. Interment will follow at noon, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Ark.
