Mrs. Mary Alice Blakely, aged 92, wife of the late Irvin H. Blakely died at her home near Rosston early Tuesday night. She was a lifetime resident of Carolina community. Mrs. Blakely was a member of the Carolina Methodist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Nettie Potter; two sons James I Blakely, all of Rosston; one sister, Mrs. Beatrice Whaley of Arkadelphia; 11 grandchildren, and 22 great grand children. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Carolina Church by Rev. L. O. Lee. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery near Rosston by Lewis funeral home of Magnolia. (Camden News - April 8, 1959)
