Samuel Wesley Cole, 83, of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013.
He was born January 17, 1930 in Parkin, Arkansas to the late Eli Curlin and Oline Magdaline Enis Cole.
He was a member of Teakwood Baptist Church. Samuel served in the United States Air Force and worked for Sears for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Opal Loraine Jewell Cole; daughters, Carron Radigan , South Dakota, Paula Thomas (Mark), California and Karen King (Jack) of Cabot; grandchildren, Richelle Netzer (Brett), Michael Reddick (Kat), Taylor Reddick, Morgan Thomas, Jessie Watts (Chris), Shaunna Thomas, Taylor Abess; great-grandchildren, Tyler Watts, Myles Watts, Treyden Reddick and Kelsey Reddick; sisters, Joyce Williams of Harrisburg and Annette Simmons of Yuma, Arizona; brother, Harry Cole, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
