Graydon L. Brown, 87, of North Little Rock died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.

Graydon was born April 23, 1926 in Bee Branch to the late Clarence Earl and Rosa Lee McKnight Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty Goad Brown; sons, Paul (Pattie) of Cabot, Don (Dell) of Sherwood and Joe (Becky) of Flower Mound, Texas; grandchildren, Paul, Mikala, Lisa, David, Whitney and Sami; and ten great-grandchildren.

Graydon was a World War II veteran having served on the USS California in the battles of Leyte, Surigae, Liugayan Gulf and Okinawa. He was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church in North Little Rock and a faithful choir member. Graydon was an electrician by trade and also served as plant manager of KC Baking Powder for many years.

The family will receive visitors from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock with Rev. Jerry Meeks and Rev. Jeanie Burton officiating.

Pallbearers are Vaughn Bennett, David Brown, Paul Brown, Bert Caldwell, Robert Muller, Sean Ragan and Gary Siebert.
