Daniel Cook Sr., 78 of Little Rock, departed this life August 19, 2013.
He was a licensed brick mason, Trustee, Deacon, faithful choir member, Army Veteran and Masonic Brother.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lashanya Hinnant; father, George Washington Cook; mother, Mary Emily Cook; brothers, Arthur and George Cook.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Willie Cook; children, Beverly Cook, Katherine Gee, both of Little Rock, and Daniel Cook of Fort Smith; sisters, Julia Lawson, Hazel Maddox, Mildred Sue Causey; three grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; other family and friends.
Family hours will be 6-7 p.m. Monday, August 26 at Robinson Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 27 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 1900 Simpson St., Little Rock with Rev. Milton Jackson officiating.
