Carlton E. Gibson, 88, of Little Rock, passed away September 2, 2013.
He was born in Steele, Missouri to Roger C. and Maude Curtis Gibson, and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.
He was a member of Western Hills United Methodist Church. He was fondly known as a Master Craftsman, owning his own building contractor business.
Preceded in death by his parents, stepson, Gary Ronald Hepler and brother, James Gibson.
He is survived by his wife, Imogene Younger Gibson; grandson, Ronald Shawn Hepler and wife, Jessica, and great-grandchildren, Andrew Hepler and Sarah Hepler, all of Sherwood; and his sisters, Margie Durham of California and Shirley Jean Wyatt of Charleston, Missouri.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 4 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.).
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 5 at the funeral home, followed by interment with Military Honors at 12 Noon at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
