Wynward Hall (aka Wynn-Price) Cemetery
Miller County,
Arkansas

William Robert Wynn, son of William W. Wynn created the Wynn (Price) Plantation, and built a home there in 1835. Known as a "Turfman" for raising race horses, and conducting racing on the track in front of the plantation home in Garland. During the Mexican War, William presented to General Taylor the horse "Rocky Mountain" for use during the war. Upon William's death, the plantation was divided in 1857, the land east of the Red River went to Martha. The land west of the Red River passed to his son, Robert H. Wynn (Young Bob). Col. Wynn is buried under the Magnolia tree in the yard next to the house.

The Wynn-Price House is a historic house on Price Drive, just outside Garland, Arkansas. The house is a rambling two-story wood frame structure, roughly in an "E" shape, with three gable-roofed sections joined by hyphen sections. The gable ends have columned porticos, and the southern (front) facade has an elaborate two-story Greek temple front. With its oldest portion dating to 1844, it is one Arkansas' finest antebellum Greek Revival plantation houses. It was built by William Wynn, one of the region's most successful antebellum plantation owners.

The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places January 23, 1992, Reference #90001950
