Rodney Richard McMaster, 63, of Jacksonville passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013. He was born in Shenandoah, IA to the late Richard Glen and Darlene Elaine Hendren McMaster.

He was a member of Kellogg Valley Baptist Church and American Legion and VFW. Rodney was a sheet metal worker for Union Pacific Railroad. Rodney will be missed by all who knew him. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family specially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Dyann McMaster; two sons, Ryan Smith (Cherese) and Nicholas Smith (Robin); one daughter, Hollie McMaster; one sister, Lonnie Karaseck (Richard) and his brother, Rick McMaster(Cecelia); five grandchildren, Dakota, Dustin, Maddox, Adley, and Keira ; nephew, Aaron Cooper (Leath) and a host of other friends.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72116 (501-791-7400).

Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery with Reverend Paul Rice officiating.
